All of the museum buildings are accessible. The floors are poured cement. Accessible parking spaces (handicapped permit required) are located near the entrance to the museum. A paved walkway connects the Main Hangar, Hangar 3, 4 and 5 while the remainder of the outdoor acreage is generally hard-packed dirt. It can be difficult for a thin-wheeled vehicle to move easily in the areas with loose sand when viewing the 150 aircraft outdoors.

Both the “Boneyard”/AMARG Bus Tour and the Tram Tour of the Pima Air & Space Museum’s grounds are available with accessible seating however we need advanced notification: a minimum of 10 business days for the "Boneyard"/AMARG bus, 30 minutes for the Tram.

We have limited accessible exhibits for children. Currently only the Lunar Landing Simulator in the Dorothy Finley Space Gallery can be accessed from a standard-height wheelchair (there is no paved path to the Space Gallery.)
